Relive our past Technology North events. We hope you can join us at this year's event too...
Most businesses have some sort of technology in their meeting spaces, it might be a cable to access the internet or to connect a projector, but for those who are prepared to embrace all things digital there is a suite of AV Solutions available to enhance every meeting experience. This space will showcase how some simple technology switches, from ‘old’ to ‘new’, can create more efficient and staff engaging meetings.
Collaboration made easy for everyone
The benefits of collaboration are well known – cost savings, more effective use of time, knowledge sharing and much more. However, technology has an important role to play in bringing this to life. Collaboration in meeting and training rooms has evolved over the last few years, with multiple users on different devices want to join in meetings and share content. Why not bring along your own device to Tech North and experience a real-time demo of the latest collaboration solutions.
Rise of the huddle room
Rethink your meeting spaces
‘A recent report found that there are over 50 million ‘huddle rooms’ globally’*. More and more businesses are adopting more open office space, to counterbalance the limitations that can sometimes be faced with traditional meeting rooms and layouts. The huddle room concept claims to increase productivity, improve office culture and encourage collaboration. What’s not to like? Come and learn more about this growing marketing trend.
The days of having poor quality speakers on a conference table are over. A good quality audio system is key to running an effective meeting. Clarity in sound makes presentation content easily digested and can offer participants a fully immersive experience. There are lots of audio options available catering for all types of meeting spaces, whether it’s a conference room, board room or open plan presentation space. Stop by to discuss your audio projects with our specialist team.
Integrated solutions for seamless connectivity
As businesses we should never underestimate the importance of the correct connection, at the right time, to allow every meeting to get off on the right foot. Wired meeting room solutions, such as Hydraport technology can allow users to manage content throughout meetings, seamlessly switching between different devices and participants. Many integrated solutions can differ from project to project, our technical specialists and vendor partners will be on hand throughout the event to discuss the possibilities and options available.

A cookie is a piece of text which asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. Once you agree, your browser adds that text in a small file. A cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. For example, when you visit an electronic store, a cookie makes it easier to shop, by allowing you to place things into a shopping basket; the basket itself is not the cookie, the cookie is placed on your hard drive and keeps track of your basket versus others in use at the same time.
We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system. Denial of a traffic log cookie should not prevent you from using one of these sites.
Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us. This practice is strictly in force. We know that people have concerns about cookies, but we believe that the benefit we both gain from their proper use is worthwhile.
